Manchester United target and Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos is all set to sign a new deal with Los Blancos later today. The deal will see him earn €10 million and stay at the club till 2020.
There were a lot of rumours linking the Spanish central defender with 20-time EPL Champions Manchester United after there were few eyebrows marks over Ramos’ contract extension with the Spanish Giants. But, the ten time European Champions have cleared the air and have decided to give Ramos what he wanted.
Ramos was given the honorary captain’s role after the previous skipper and goalkeeper Iker Casillas left the club to join Portuguese side FC Porto earlier in the window. This news will give the Madridistas a huge boost ahead of the Spanish La Liga that is scheduled to begin later this week.
After this new deal, Ramos will earn more than all the players at the club apart from Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale who are earning €17 million and €11 million respectively.
