Ozil out, Mkhitaryan starts – Strongest 4-3-3 Arsenal XI to face Huddersfield in Wenger’s final game as Gunners boss

Arsene Wenger

Predicted Arsenal Line-up To Face Huddersfield Town In The Premier League

Arsene Wenger’s final game as Arsenal manager – the time has come but can it end in a first Premier League away win of 2018 for the Gunners? Their away record has been absolutely woeful this season and it’s like watching Jekyll and Hyde. Their attackers are on form but their defenders can’t defend for a toffee. Will be interesting to see whether the event spurs them on.

Huddersfield come into this on the back of securing their Premier League status – a massive achievement for a team of their size and Wagner will be delighted that they will be in the Premier League next season.

Probable Arsenal XI

Manager: Arsene Wenger

Formation: 4-3-3

Petr Cech (GK)

The experienced goalkeeper has actually had a decent season for Arsenal even though he has has been awfully let down by his defenders at times.

Hector Bellerin (RB)

The rapid right-back has had very mixed games for Arsenal this season but he has still managed 2 goals and 3 assists. His main flaw is his positioning as he gets caught out too often.

Shkodran Mustafi (CB)

Stats-wise, Mustafi has actually had a very good season for Arsenal but he still gets openly criticised in the media. He is a quality defender who needs those around him to be on the same level.

Hector Bellerin

Rob Holding (CB)

Holding has not been given much of a chance in the team this season but when he has been picked, he has not been in good form. Will be hoping to start turning that around this game.

Nacho Monreal (LB)

The left-back has been excellent. He defends strongly and also appears to score quite a lot of goals. Very underrated player.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan (CM)

The creative midfielder has been fantastic for Arsenal since making the switch in January. He has 4 assists and 2 goals in 8 appearances for the Gunners. He links up with the strikers well and has definitely improved the team.

Aaron Ramsey

Granit Xhaka (CM)

The defensive midfielder is solid in a tackle and wins a lot in the air whilst also being composed on the ball. Prone to a hot-headed moment but he allows the other midfielders more freedom.

Aaron Ramsey (CM)

The Welsh midfielder improves the Arsenal team and they always look like a better outfit when he is playing. Gives his all for the team.

Danny Welbeck (LW)

Has been a mixed season for Danny Welbeck and he has been in and out of the starting eleven. He actually has a very good record when he starts games. He will be hoping to grab a goal to end the season on a high.

Alexandre Lacazette

Pierre-Erik Aubameyang (RW)

Has been fantastic for Arsenal and has 9 goals and 4 assists in 11 starts. It is a fantastic record and it is exciting to think how good he’ll be next season in his first full campaign in the Premier League.

Alexandre Lacazette (ST)

Lacazette has had a very interesting start to his Arsenal career. He has scored 14 goals and has 4 assists in 25 starts but Wenger still doesn’t seem to trust him to lead the line. Will be fascinating to see how he does under a new manager next year.
