Germany is all set to begin their pre-World Cup training campaign in Italy before they face Portugal on their opening group G match on June 16.  Head coach Joachim Loew and his 27-man squad have reached a five-star hotel in the idyllic south Tyrolean resort of St Leonhard where they will train for the next ten days.

Arsenal trio, Per Mertesacker, Lukas Podolski and Mesut Ozil are a part of that 27-men squad and would be a vital cog in the German machine.
