Arsenal’s new signing Mohamed Elneny, who received back-to-back Arsenal player of the month awards in March and April after a brilliant start to his career as a Gunners player showed his love for the Arsenal fans.
The Egyptian moved to the north London club in an £8m deal from Swiss side FC Basel in January, and had a perfect start to his career. The 23-year-old scored only one goal in the Arsenal’s jersey which came in a 3-1 defeat against Barcelona in the Champions League last 16.
Elneny’s strike against the Catalonians was voted Arsenal’s goal of the season, and the Egyptian posted the above picture in his social media account by stating: “Thanks Allah and thanks everyone for choosing my goal as the best in the season .. More to come next year!! #COYG”
