The season seems to be floating by them, they need their number one striker firing again if they are to better their results from here on then.

Hugo Lloris 6

Hugo Lloris

Excellent performance by Lloris like always is one of the safest pair of hands in the Premier League right now. Didn’t look much in trouble all afternoon and made an excellent save to deny cleverly.

Kyle Walker 4

Guilty of giving the ball away in his own half at times but remains a very solid defenders. Did make one or two awful mistakes which gave Everton a chance. Needs to up his game if doesn’t want to be demoted to the bench.

Toby Alderweireld – 6

Had a header saved by Howard in the match, the new spur signing showed signs of promise, needs to keep improving right now. Worked hard all game.

Jan Vertonghen – 7

Had a much better game than the match against Leicester, was composed and solid in defense today. Lead his backline superbly well but missed a really good chance to give his side the lead.

Danny Rose – 6

Couldn’t provide the service that is expected from him, but a good game overall kept the likes Kone and Lukaku quite. Needs to keep the form going to maintain a place in the starting XI

Harry Kane

Nabil Bentaleb – 5

Had an average game, didn’t contribute to the proceedings too much. Failed to convert some chances which fell his way. Kept it simple with neat passing.

Eric Dier 7

Seems to be growing more confident in his new role as defender cum midfielder. Made a fair tackle on Cleverley which led to the Everton player being stretchered off.

Ryan Mason – 6

Had a good game, tried to drive his team forward. Worked very hard to create something but it always fell short in the final third. Made excellent runs into the penalty box but couldn’t finish it.

Mousa Dembele – 5

Doesn’t really know what his role in the team is but still contributes a lot to the play. Made some powerful runs in the Everton half till he got substituted due to an injury. Didn’t look comfortable at times.

Nacer Chadli – 6

Got some really great chances unfortunately for Spurs he couldn’t finish any of them. Linked up well with Mason and often came in from the left. Did he defensive duties excellently too.

Harry Kane – 6

Harry Kane

His goal drought continues as he had several chances in the game but failed to convert any of them. Had a great opportunity to open the scoring when he found himself one on one against Howard unluckily for him Howard saved his shot. Needs to score one maybe to get the monkey of his back.
