Possible 3-4-3 Chelsea Line Up To Face Leicester City – Terry And Luiz To Start

Chelsea

Antonio Conte’s Chelsea will be happy after taking all three points from Hull City before the international break but they will find it hard to win if they put in a similar performance against the Champions of England this weekend. In what will be a thrilling encounter, Chelsea welcome Leicester City in an early kick off with both teams trying to find their best form. Conte has tried a few combinations this season but has not been able to settle into a starting XI. Here is the predicted lineup he might field for the game against Leicester City:

Here is our predicted line up that Conte might field for the game against Leicester City:

Team News:

The manager will be ecstatic with the return of club skipper John Terry who is back in training and all ready to take on the Foxes. Long-term absentee in Kurt Zouma is also finally back fit but it might be some time before he is brought back into the team. Victor Moses and John Obi Mikel are the other two absentees but both of them are not too far away from full fitness.

Lineup: 3-4-3

Thibaut Courtois:

The Belgian has not been at his best this season but is the best option that Conte has got between the sticks. He will start against Leicester City this weekend.

Gary Cahill:

Arguably the worst defender for Chelsea this season. Cahill has had the trust of the manager leading into the international break and the return of Terry might get him back to form for the Blues.

John Terry:

The club skipper is finally back in training and Chelsea have been missing him since he picked up his injury. His return should provide Chelsea with an extra strength in defence.

David Luiz:

The Brazilian has been decent this season but Conte will demand more of him as a part of the back three till the return of Kurt Zouma later this month.

Cesar Azpilicueta:

The Spaniard has been one of the most consistent players for the club for a couple of years now and he will be played in a wing-back position in Conte’s 3-4-3 system.

Nemanja Matic:

Though not superb so far, Matic has been decent in the midfield for the side. He will have to step up his game for the Blues.

N’Golo Kante:

Facing his former team, Kante will be pumped up this weekend and will be one of the biggest threats for the visitors.

Marcos Alonso:

A summer buy from Conte who is trying to find his feet in England. Alonso will keep his place on the left side of the midfield as a wing-back for this game against Leicester City.

Willian:

One of the most inform players for Chelsea. Willian has started the season in fine fashion and will hope to have an impact on the game against the Foxes.

Eden Hazard:

The Belgian is easily Chelsea’s star player and he will have to be effective if the Blues are to take anything from this game.

Diego Costa:

The Spaniard has been in tremendous form early this season and will start the game against Leicester City high on confidence, leading the charts for top goal scorers in the league this season.
