Possible January Targets for the EPL Clubs : Huntelaar, De Rossi, Shawcross and more

Klass-Jan Huntelaar, who will be out of contract by next summer,  is a January target for Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool as the Schalke forward could be available for a reduced fee of about £7m during the next transfer window. Both the clubs have their own share of striker problems and would love to make the Dutch star their own.

Liverpool have only Suarez as the only realistic available striker and a £7m price on Huntelaar would be a shrewd deal for the Reds.

Athletico Madrid are linked with a January swoop for Spurs striker Adebayor and Huntelaar would be the perfect replacement for Tottenham.

Tottenham could also make a move for Liverpool’s England striker Andy Carroll – currently on loan at West Ham if Spurs lose out to Liverpool in their pursuit to sign Huntelaar.

Chelsea are considering moves for Marseille striker Loic Remy and Porto forward Jackson Martinez after being put off by Atletico Madrid’s £46m valuation for Colombian striker Radamel Falcao.

Stoke City defender Ryan Shawcross, who has 18 months left on his contract, has been offered a six-year deal as the Potters attempt to ward off interest from his former club Manchester United and Tottenham.

Shawcross who was a youth product of United could make a move back to the club in January as the Red Devils have been having problems at the back.

Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool have joined the hunt for Watford’s 18-year-old central defender Tommie Hoban.

Man United are also considering Blackpool winger Tom Ince as a potential replacement for Nani due to uncertainty over the Portugal winger’s future at Old Trafford.

Man City are put on alert by Roma after the Italian club admitted they will listen to offers for skipper Daniele de Rossi, whom they value at £30m.
