Predicted Leicester XI to face Arsenal: Foxes aim fourth straight win

A confident Leicester City welcomes a visibly distraught Arsenal to the King Power Stadium on Saturday.

Both sides come into the game in stark contrast to each other. Leicester have had a scintillating start to the season as they stay third in the table, two points behind defending champions City.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are fifth as Unai Emery and his side face an uphill task, entering the game on a four-match winless streak. The Gunners have managed to win just one of their last six outings.

Brendon Rodgers Foxes will aim for a fourth league win on the trot while Emery faces the stick after a run of unimpressive displays and would be aiming to break the deadlock.

Brendan Rodgers can be a happy man as he has a fit squad at his disposal. Except for midfielder Matty James, who is out due to a calf injury, Rodgers would mostly field an unchanged squad.

Manager: Brendan Rodgers

Formation: 4-1-4-1

Predicted XI

Kasper Schmeichel (GK)

The Danish keeper has started in all games for the Foxes and will continue to be the first-choice under Rodgers.

Ricardo Pereira (RB)

A hard-working full-back, the Portuguese can produce the goods in the final third and has already excelled for the hosts with two goals this season.

Jonny Evans (CB)

The experienced defender is sure to retain his spot in the side and has featured in all their league games.

Caglar Soyuncu (CB)

Soyuncu is the reason why Leicester do not miss Harry Maguire. The Turk has been a rock in the defence and has formed a formidable partnership with Evans. His spirited displays for Leicester have earned him a regular spot.

Ben Chilwell (LB)

A position that the Englishman has cemented for himself over time. His one goal and three assists in the league makes him a sure pick for any game.

Wilfred Ndidi (CDM)

One of the top defensive midfielders in the league, Ndidi helps Leicester cut out dangerous moves into their box and is a key player.

Ayoze Perez (RW)

Summer signing Perez has been in fine form in recent games, even scoring a hat-trick in their 9-0 demolition of Southampton earlier. He will retain his spot.

Youri Tielemens (RCM)

This gifted midfielder is an important player under Rodgers and has been an energetic presence in the middle of the park. He has three goals and two assists to his name.

James Maddison (LCM)

Maddison, whose creativity in the middle has attracted a lot of clubs, would once again be Rodgers main man to open up an Arsenal defence which has looked unstable at times.

Harvey Barnes (LW)

The pacey winger has often troubled defences with his movements and would be a tough opponent for anyone to face.

Jamie Vardy (ST)

The Premier League top-scorer is in the form of his life, similar to his exploits during Leicester’s 2015-16 league-winning season. The 32-year old has 10 league goals from 11 matches and will be Rodgers main weapon in the attack.
