As the transfer window draws to a close, it seems that Premier League giants Arsenal have given up in the chase of a world-class striker, with deals for Benzema and Cavani not materializing till now. Arsene Wenger was off to Paris as well in order to probably sort out a deal for a potential signing though nothing has been confirmed yet.
The north London side have been in need of more attacking options, as they look to provide some much-needed support for French international Olivier Giroud, who has not been in the best of forms in recent weeks.
With that said and done, BBC Sports’ David Ornstein has now predicted that the Gunners will not be signing any more players in the summer transfer window.
Ornstein sent out a recent Tweet confirming the same, which would have been a huge disappointment for the fans of the north London side.
If the claims turn out to be true, the Gunners will have only signed former Chelsea man Petr Cech in the current window.
