Puel to make 2 changes – Predicted 4-4-2 Leicester City line-up to face Burnley

Predicted Leicester City Line-up To Face Burnley In The Premier League

Leicester City will look to bounce back to winning ways when they travel to Burnley on Saturday. The Foxes are on a good run of form but suffered a blip after losing 2-1 at home to Newcastle United. Claude Puel’s men are currently placed 8th in the league standings and will be hoping to beat Burnley.

In the reverse fixture last December, an early goal from Demarai Gray was enough to give Leicester a victory against Burnley at the King Power Stadium. This time too, the Foxes will be looking to secure all three points.

Probable Leicester City XI

Manager: Claude Puel

Formation: 4-4-2

Kasper Schmeichel (GK)

Schmeichel is a permanent fixture in goal and that is unlikely to change for Saturday’s game.

Danny Simpson (RB)

Simpson is an attacking right-back but is also defensively sound. He should keep his place.

Harry Maguire

Wes Morgan (CB)

The skipper is a reliable presence in the defence and will aim to keep the Burnley attackers at bay.

Harry Maguire (CB)

Maguire has been outstanding for the Foxes this season. Dependable and solid in the air, the former Hull City man is expected to continue in the same vein.

Ben Chilwell (LB)

Chilwell continues to impress with his displays at left-back. He is likely to hold on to his spot.

Hamza Choudhury (CM)

With Iborra, Amartey and James sidelined through injury, and Ndidi suspended, Puel could hand Hamza Choudhury a full debut following the under-23s captain’s positive performance in the defeat against Newcastle.

Adrien Silva (CM)

With Hamza Choudhary expected to be his midfield partner, Silva will have a task cut out at Burnley. The Portuguese will look not to provide spaces for the Burnley attackers to excel.

Riyad Mahrez (RW)

The Algerian international has found his form lately and will again look to be the difference maker. Nippy and agile with a classy first touch, Mahrez will be a big threat against Burnley.

Riyad Mahrez

Fousseni Diabate (LW)

On the left flank, it should be Diabate. He provided a few glimpses of his pace and ability last weekend but lacked the end product.

Jamie Vardy (ST)

Spearheading the attack for the Foxes should be star striker Jamie Vardy. The England international is indispensable to Leicester and will have a big task on his shoulders.

Shinji Okazaki (ST)

Okazaki brings industry and pace to the team. He may not be an ideal striker to lead the line for the Foxes but his movement makes him an effective player to have in the squad.
