Alfredo has been a revelation for Steven Gerrard’s side this season. The striker has scored a mammoth total of 23 goals across all competitions as of now.

On the downside, the 22-year-old has also been in the news for his misconduct and as a result, has been the recipient of four red cards this season.

He received a three-match ban in the wake of his violent altercation with an Aberdeen player recently.

Morelos to be watched amongst others

“It’s very important to watch and speak to my European-based players and I intend to do that,” ( h/t Rangers News UK)

“There are others I want to see too like David Ospina from Napoli, Radamel Falcao at Monaco and Alfredo Morelos at Rangers.”

Morelos had represented Colombia at different levels before getting his maiden call from the senior team in 2018.=

The forward made an emphatic comeback in a Scottish Cup game where the Light Blues annihilated Kilmarnock 5-0, with the Colombian finding the score sheet four times.
