Rangers News: Rangers target Liverpool sensation, looks a bad sign for Jon Flanagan

Rangers News: Rangers have opened up their interest towards the Liverpool teenager Adam Lewis and it definitely looks not good for the current fullback John Flanagan. (h/t HITC)

Adam Lewis

Flanagan, a former Anfield player was acquired by Rangers last year with the help of the current manager Steven Gerrard.

The English defender did a decent job at Anfield for around eight years. After two unsuccessful spells at Burnley and Bolton, Flanagan made his way to the Scottish club to join his former team-mate.

Flanagan’s spell at the Gers has been underwhelming so far and his new role as the left back couldn’t yield much success for the Light Blues. In the wake of the failures, Flanagan was at the receiving end of criticism.

And it has made Gerrard sort out a player who could be natural on the left flank. And as per the reports, the English manager is looking to recruit teenage sensation Adam Lewis from Anfield.

Lewis doing well at the Reds

The U-23 star has been brilliant this season in the Premier League 2 division 1 scoring a goal and providing three assists.

Unfortunately, Lewis has agreed to a four –year deal at Anfield and it will be interesting to see if Gerrard can pry him away from Anfield.

Rangers had an eventful few months as their players Alfredo Morelos and Allan McGregor faced three-match bans after violent conduct.
