Arsenal are on “God mode” in this transfer window. After making a flurry of signings including Alexis Sanchez, Debhuchy, Chambers, and Ospina, the Gunners are still looking to add one or two players before the window shuts down.
According to the latest reports from Colombia, Arsenal are very close to sign Columbian playmaker Juan Fernando Quintero from Porto. These reports even claim that the World Cup star will fly to London on Monday to seal the deal /medical. Reported transfer is around £16 million.
Quintero’s biggest strength is his elusive dribbling. His low center of gravity means that he has the balance and poise to glide past players as if they weren’t there. He may not be as pacey as Theo Walcott or Sanchez but Quintero still possesses the acceleration required to burst past his marker.

In other Arsenal news, they are also tracking Sporting defensive midfielder William Carvalho. With Mikel Arteta’s age factor, the Gunners are looking for a powerful defensive midfielder who can provide good defensive cover to Arsenal defenders. The Portugal international now appears to be their main target.
