According to the latest reports, Arsenal joins the race to sign Atletico Madrid midfielder Josuha Guilavogui.
We all know that Wenger is looking to add a defensive midfielder to the squad and Josuha Guilavogui is believed to be one of the main targets for the North London side.
Reportedly, Atletico are ready to sell him for £11.5million, a value which Arsenal can easily match. But they will face severe competition from the German side Wolfsburg, who are also tracking the 23 year star in this transfer window.
Guilavogui came to Atletico from Saint Etienne only last season but he failed to impress Diego Pablo Simeone, which led to him being loaned back to Saint Etienne.
Now, Simeone has decided to sell him permanently. If Arsenal can outbid Wolfsburg in the transfer race, then Josuha Guilavogui will become their 5th major signing of this Summer.
