Leeds track the situation of Jese Rodriguez
The 26-year-old recently concluded his loan spell with La Liga outfit Real Betis and is due to return to his parent club this summer.
The Spanish international is known for his time with the La Liga giants Real Madrid, where he played more than matches 100 for both the reserves and the first-team.
However, his career post the Madrid exit didn’t go well as he struggled to find his feet.
The Los Blancos academy graduate signed for the Ligue 1 giants in 2016 and was subsequently loaned to Las Palmas and Stoke City.
Should Leeds move for Jese?
The Whites wingers Jack Clarke and Jack Harrison’s futures remain uncertain as the former one is linked with a Premier League move while the latter one is due to return his parent club Manchester City.
Given this, Marcelo Bielsa can opt for a high-profile winger like Jese who is currently devoid of more playing time. And the Argentine manager can provide him with the time and space to regain his form.
Jese’s hopeful future at the French Capital looks far from over as the star-studded line up of Thomas Tuchel will hinder his progress.
A move to the Championship where he can get more playing minutes will be a welcome break for the Spaniard.
