As per the latest reports, Arsenal are planning to sign Napoli forward Lorenzo Insigne after the world cup. Even the player’s agent encouraged the gunners to go forward in the deal after admitting that his client is honored to be linked with Arsenal.
Otaiano (agent) told Tutto Mercato.
“We take into account the praising reports that [Arsene] Wenger has given about the player,”
“We are honoured that a club like Arsenal could have Lorenzo on their wish list.
“However, from here to take it to the next level, that is a possible transfer, there is a huge mountain in between named ‘Napoli’.
Now, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has laughed off Arsenal’s interest and insisted that Insigne will not be sold for anything less than 60-70 million.
He said,
“Arsenal offers 20 million for Insigne? This makes me laugh. I want to make Insigne rise to a value of 60-70 million,”
