It is reported that the Killies are keen on keeping Smith at Rugby Park.

Furthermore, the Ibrox youth side also won the Scottish Youth League this season.

Exciting talents like Glenn Middleton have already made an impact in the Gers first-team and are poised for a great future.

Even the former Liverpool star has said the young players would definitely see the light of the day if they keep progressing.

Gerrard’s first season at Ibrox was highlighted by the Old Firm derby win.

Their recent signing was that of Motherwell winger Jake Hastie, who will join the squad in the pre-season camp.
