Arsenal are having a great transfer window so far with the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Mathieu Debuchy have joined their ranks already. As per the latest reports, Arsenal are looking to bring in atleast two more players before the deadline day.
In a latest interview, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger talked about Columbian star James Rodriguez. The Columbian attacking midfielder had an amazing World Cup, scoring 6 goals and winning the golden boot in the process.
Wenger told beIN Sports,
“A player like that is difficult to keep at a club when you have Real Madrid and Barcelona looking around, and without a doubt there will be people who will be watching them play and thinking about buying him.”
“Is this the year that he will move? Certainly not because he is with Monaco and they will play Champions League next season and they are a big club in France,
“But certainly in the next season or two he will want to move somewhere else.”
Is Wenger just generally talking about the rising star or is he giving a hint that Arsenal may opt to sign him next Season? Anyawy, with heavyweights like Barcelona and Real Madrid linked with the player, a move to Emirates looks very unlikely at the moment.
