Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas names Mathieu Flamini and Gilberto Silva as the best midfielder, he has ever shared the field with. According to Fabregas, he would choose between Gilberto Silva and Mathieu Flamini when asked who the best midfielder was he has played with.
While Fabregas’ teammates include names like Xavi, Andres Iniesta and Xabi Alonso, he went on to choose Mathieu Flamini of them all.
The player played alongside Flamini for two years and that is sure to create a rapport of sort and the reply seems more influenced by that rapport. Further, Fabregas states that his Barcelona teammates football may seem good to the eye, for him it is not real football for him.
Flamini has been struggling with his form this season and as such he does not have any title won to his name, while Gilberto Silva seems to be a little more viable as at-least he has won the Premier League and one World cup to his credit.
Seems like a baffling choice by the player, but hey, he made it.
