Manchester United have announced their kit numbers for the 2015-2016 season. Dutch winger Memphis Depay, who signed for the Red Devils earlier in the transfer window has been given the prestigious jersey number 7, that has been left vacant after the departure of Argentine winger Angel di Maria to Paris Saint-Germain.

United’s other new signings, Matteo Darmian (36), Sergio Romero (20) and Morgan Schneiderlin (28) have also chosen their squad numbers. Marouane Fellaini allowed Bastian Schweinsteiger to take his favoured shirt number 31 and the Belgian moved to no.27.

Luke Shaw swaps no.3 for 23 as a personal preference and James Wilson is now no.19. Jersey number 9 has been left vacant and will be taken by Barcelona’s Pedro if he signs for the Red Devils before the Transfer Window shuts down..
