Richarlison and Digne to start – Strongest 4-2-3-1 Everton XI to face Wolves in the Premier League

Predicted Everton line-up to face Wolves in the Premier League

The Marco Silva revolution has finally arrived at the Goodison. Well, Everton have got themselves a good manager and he has brought a load of players with him, including Richarlison, but the results haven’t been impressive at all.

The Toffees won just one game in their entire preseason campaign and that too against a 7th division Austrian side. They have been leaking goals and it’s a huge headache for Silva against the Wolves at the Molineux Stadium.

Probable Everton XI

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Manager: Marco Silva

Jordan Pickford (GK)

The England No.1 had a great World Cup and Everton fans will hope he continues his great form for the club as well.

Jordan Pickford

Seamus Coleman (RB)

Coleman missed a huge chunk of last season with a long-term injury. But he looks fit and ready now to hurt the opposition with his attacking runs down the right flank.

Michael Keane (CB)

The former Burnley man made his big move from Turf Moor last summer but failed to recapture his form from the Burnley days. He will look for a fresh start under the new manager.

Phil Jagielka (CB)

The veteran defender has kept his place in the side for now and should partner Keane at the heart of Everton’s defence.

Lucas Digne

Lucas Digne (LB)

Everton’s new signing from Barcelona should be ready for his debut in the Premier League. Digne will look to impress the Everton faithful as he takes over from Leighton Baines as the chief left-back of the club.

Morgan Schneiderlin (CDM)

The Frenchman struggled to get into the side under Sam Allardyce but seems to have gained the trust of Marco Silva. He will too look to resurrect his career under the new manager.

Idrissa Gueye (CDM)

Gueye, the young Senegalese international, had a decent campaign last time around and under the attack-minded Silva, he will get more opportunities to bomb ahead and get into goalscoring positions.

Richarlison

Richarlison (LW)

Everton’s expensive signing will look to hit the ground running against the Wolves. He was a sensation for Watford, and the Toffees will pray that he finds his form for them too.

Gylfi Sigurdsson (CAM)

With the departure of Rooney and Klaassen, Siggy has got the role that he craved for. He can run the midfield from this position, just like he did at Swansea City. Iceland were knocked out early from the World Cup and Sigurdsson should be fresh for the new campaign.

Theo Walcott (RW)

The former Arsenal and Southampton winger got himself a transfer to Everton during the winter transfer window as he searched for more minutes. He got the minutes he desired but after a quickfire double against Leicester City in February, he has been blowing hot and cold. Maybe, Marco Silva can get the best out of him and resurrect his stuttering career.

Cenk Tosun (ST)

Tosun took some time to find his feet in English football but once he did that, the fans saw why Big Sam paid the big money to bring him from Turkey. He is a great finisher and with the likes of Richarlison and Sigurdsson around him, he will get more opportunities to find the back of the net.
