Premier League Right Footed XI
In this list we consider the right footers. They are the predominant breed of footballers as most are right footed, but not all are as good as the ones that are going to be mentioned in this list. We have seen so many amazing right footers that they need no special introduction. They don’t stand out as effectively as left footers because they are more common, but they deserve the same attention for the class they show on the pitch. Here is the Right Footed Premier League XI consisting of the best in form players in the league.
Goalkeeper:
David De Gea (Manchester United)
The Man Utd star is a right footed player. He is showcasing his talents and carrying his bright form from last season. De Gea has cat like reflexes and uses his agility to match his reflexes. Many times he looks certain to make an error when we consider his initial positioning, but he has unconventional yet effective ways to prove us wrong.
Defender:
Branislav Ivanovic (Chelsea)
The Serbian is a comprehensive defender and is a very crucial player for Chelsea. He is a hefty player, who looks more of a center back than a Right Back, but Ivanovic has developed himself into a tank and runs hard and endlessly to perform his role commendably. With Fabregas in the team, he has the option of bombarding forward for aerial passes as he’s a good aerial threat.
Defenders:
Defender: Gary Cahill (Chelsea)
Cahill has been England’s and Chelsea’s finest defender last season and this season as well. He really emerged from a substitute to a key player and to being England’s vice-captain. He is a right footed footballer, and has a very good skill to direct his clearances to start some meaningful offensive move whenever needed.
Defender: Vincent Kompany (Manchester City)
The Manchester City Captain’s style has always been to put his best foot forward and stop the opponent. His best foot is his Right Foot. He is one of the best defenders in the league, and is a front foot defender. He also comes with great leadership and organizational skills.
Defender: Cesar Azpilicueta (Chelsea)
He is apparently the league’s best one-on-one defender and playing on the left hand side, he really knows how to drop deeper and narrower while stopping the wingers. His natural right footedness makes him a great stopper when a winger tries to cut in, and his dedication helps him block crosses. Also, a beast of a tackler at left-back.
Midfielders:
Midfielder: Morgan Schneiderlin (Southampton)
The Frecn International has picked up from where he left last season. After being linked with a big money move to Arsenal throughout the summer, it would have been a releif for Ronald Koeman to see Schneiderlin still in the saints shirt. He has strength, stamina and skills to drive the team from the middle of the part and has been on the best defensive midfielders in the country over the last 15 months.
Midfielder: Gylfi Sigurðsson (Swansea)
The Icelandic midfielder is back doing what he does best and is currently the prized asset at the liberty stadium. He has learnt how to position himself in such a way that he gets goals and has a great offensive influence. He is a right footed footballer and has re-ignited his career after a horrid time at White Hart Lane. The midfielder has shown his consistency in International stages as well this season as he stunned the World Cup semi-finalists Netherlands with two well taken goals.
Midfielder: Cesc Fabregas (Chelsea)
It is Chelsea’s star man and playmaker Cesc Fabregas who joined the club from Barcelona this summer much to the agony of Arsenal fans. The former Gunners’ skipper leads the charts in assists and chances created. He is certainly looking back to his best in the Premier League after frustrating spells at Barcelona where he wasn’t utilized to his best capability.
Midfielder: Eden Hazard (Chelsea)
Chelsea has a full bunch of top players who are right footed and Hazard is definitely one of them. He is one of the best attacking midfielders in the league and in the world with a great achievement of creating the maximum chances in the whole of Europe. He single handedly changes games with his flair.
Attackers:
Forward: Graziano Pelle (Southampton)
Another saints player in our list. What a signing Pelle has been for Southampton so far! The Italian striker has taken the league by a storm when all the eyes were on Mario Balotelli to perform. Pelle is known for his clinical finishing which is often accompanied by clever runs off the ball and the strength to take on defenders. The Southampton striker is certainly one of the best right footed players especially in form this season.
Forward: Diego Costa (Chelsea)
Okay, here is another Chelsea player. Star man Diego Costa has plundered 9 goals in 7 matches and he looks the real deal for the Blues. He is one of the most in form out and out strikers in the world and he has shown great consistency in his performances since last season where he had a great season with Atletico Madrid.
