Twitter has meant football fans can now interact a lot more intimately with their heroes than before. It has also caused more abuse, check out Robbie Fowler’s brilliant response to receiving abuse from a United fan.
This was on Jan 8th when Liverpool played their Nextgen series match against Inter Milan and Fowler was trying to appreciate a young Kop who was ready to come in as a substitute.
