Rodgers to make 1 important change – Predicted 3-4-2-1 Celtic line-up to face Hibernian

Predicted Celtic Line-up To Face Hibernian In The Scottish Premiership

Celtic will be hoping to clinch their 7th consecutive Scottish Premiership title when they take on Hibernian this Saturday at the Easter Road.

The Hoops are currently on 75 points from 33 games, 13 above closest competitors Rangers. A victory over the Hibs will ensure the inevitable and put Brendan Rodgers’ side well on their course to accomplishing a historic domestic treble.

Celtic will be high on confidence coming into the game, having thrashed Rangers 4-0 in the Scottish Cup semifinals a week before.

Probable Celtic XI

Manager: Brendan Rodgers

Formation: 3-4-2-1

Craig Gordon (GK)

The veteran shot-stopper has made a strong return to fitness after spending a good part of the new year on the sidelines.

Jack Hendry (CB)

The January arrival from Dundee FC is regarded as one of the brightest young centre-backs in Scotland and has shown glimpses of his ability in his short spell with the Parkhead outfit.

Craig Gordon

Dedryck Boyata (CB)

The former Manchester City man has had an inconsistent season, troubled by injuries. Will be hoping to end the campaign on a high.

Kristoffer Ajer (CB)

One of the biggest positives of the season for the Hoops has been the emergence of Kristoffer Ajer as a mainstay in their backline. Sharp, composed and confident, the Norwegian has been brilliant.

James Forrest (RWB)

The Scottish winger hasn’t scored a single goal in the Premiership since the Boxing Day but remains a vital part of the team. Will be hoping to end the goal drought and fire his team to the title this weekend.

Scott Brown (CM)

The club captain has had a fantastic season for the Hoops and was once again majestic in their 4-0 triumph over Rangers last week. Irremovable from the starting XI.

Scott Brown

Olivier Ntcham (CM)

The Frenchman has had good debut season for the Hoops. Offers the drive from the midfield and can score a few goals too, like he did in the semifinals last week.

Kieran Tierney (LWB)

20-year-old left-back Kieran Tierney has chipped in with 4 goals and 10 assists in 50 appearances across competitions this term. A definite starter.

Tom Rogic (RAM)

The Australian attacking midfielder provides the creative edge in the final third. Scored a brilliant goal last week and will be high on confidence ahead of Saturday’s game.

Callum McGregor

Callum McGregor (LAM)

Another goalscorer from the win over the Gers, McGregor has grown into a key player for the Bhoys over the past couple of seasons. Has scored 10 this season, along with 8 assists.

Moussa Dembele (ST)

Scored a brilliant panenka penalty against Rangers to take his tally to 15 goals for the season. The Frenchman has been in decent form in the past few weeks and will be a threat to the Hibs defence.
