Predicted Celtic Line-up To Face Ross County In The Scottish Premiership

After the international break, Scottish Premiership action returns with Celtic gearing up to face Ross County on Saturday. With a solid 10-point lead at the top of the table, the Bhoys are almost guaranteed to win the title this season but the visitors must not be taken lightly.

Ross County are capable of causing a nasty upset and Celtic must be wary of them. After a goalless draw with Motherwell, Celtic will be looking to win this game.

Probable Celtic XI

Manager: Brendan Rodgers

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Scott Bain (GK)

Bain has proven to be quite solid between the sticks for Celtic in recent matches and is expected to continue in this role on Saturday.

Jack Hendry (RB)

The lack of a good right-back is quite evident but Rodgers has deployed Hendry in this position before and he might do so against Ross County as well.

Kristoffer Ajer (CB)

After Dedryck Boyata’s lacklustre display against Motherwell, Rodgers might turn to Ajer this time around.

Jozo Simunovic (CB)

Simunovic is likely to partner Ajer in central defence.

Callum McGregor (LB)

With Tierney’s inclusion being a doubt, McGregor is likely to receive another starting opportunity at left-back.

Olivier Ntcham (CM)

Ntcham can influence and control a game like no other and he must be at his best this Saturday.

Scott Brown (CM)

Brown may have announced his retirement from international football but the player should partner Ntcham in his usual role.

Patrick Roberts (RW)

After recovering from his injury, Roberts has been gunning for a chance and he is likely to receive it this time.

Tom Rogic (AM)

Rogic’s creativity and speed can unlock a lot of opportunities for Celtic, and Rodgers will be counting on him to orchestrate some lethal attacks.

Scott Sinclair (LW)

Odsonne Edouard did very little to impress last time and Sinclair might be deployed at left-wing this time.

Moussa Dembele (ST)

Dembele needs to get on the scoresheet and he will be looking for chances to do that on Saturday.
