Sack Michu, Plan For The Double Gameweek, Think About Torres – Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 33 Preview

Well the Fantasy Premier League managers can jump out in joy when they find out that four teams are having double gameweek this week and some very interesting matches are lined up. We are at the business end of the season and the managers should now look to accumulate the maximum points they can each week to oust their neighbour from the competition. There have been some interesting changes in the past couple of matches and the sooner the managers adjust their teams according to that, the more chance for them to reap heavily of these. For a starter, Torres has started playing like Van Persie and vice versa! Read on for further such points that may be crucial to you in the following week.
It’s  raining double gameweeks

Four teams of the Premier League, namely Arsenal, Everton, Manchester United and West Ham have double gameweek and it is only fair to say that the Fantasy Premier League managers would be spoiled for choices trying to select from these teams. With Walcott injured and unsure to play, Santi Cazorla has to run the show single handedly, providing enough opportunity for him to impress. Luis Fabianski has been in Wenger’s good book and the stopper has made his slot quite sure. Oliver Giroud has featured in all of Wenger’s last matches and this £7.7m striker can be good value for money. For West Ham Andy Carroll has been in quite decent form of lately and though his £8.2m price may seem to be a bit steep, he can bring in decent points at this stage of the season.

West Ham have a decent run of fixtures in the weeks ahead and thus one of their defenders, Demel or O’Brien, can be included in the team. Van Persie’s form, or lack of it, has been shocking in recent times but their defence has looked determined producing six back to back clean sheets before Manchester City decided to raid it. Rafael or Evra can come in handy at these times and boost the score of the team. Fellaini’s suspension ends and thus he should straight feature in the teams of the Fantasy Premier League managers. A recent drop in price of the Belgian would only help the cause of the managers and his fixture can give us hopes high enough to put money behind him.
Blank gameweek for Swansea

It can be big blow for the Fantasy Premier League managers to realise that Swansea have a blank gameweek, resulting in an in form Michu sitting on the bench. Though Michu’s fixture is not too favourable, still he is capable enough to make an impact and it would not be a wise decision on the part of the manager to oust him from the team.
Thoughts of swapping Van Persie with Torres

Is Torres finally ready to be back in the FPL team?

While Van Persie has been in gradual decline, missing chances that would quite put a boy to shame, Torres has been hitting the right notes. He has made some impressive displays against Sunderland the previous week and scored Rubin against in the Europa League. This has arisen a renewed interest in Torres and we cannot blame the Fantasy Premier League managers who have thought of including Torres in place of Van Persie. Fixture wise Van Persie still has the edge, but Torres may regain his place back in some of his loyalist’s teams anyway.
