Scout Report: Hubert Adamczyk

Chelsea seem to be taking a good look at their recent signings, well mostly their young signings with the sale of one of their highly talented midfielders Hubert Adamczyk. The Polish attacking midfielder was signed with a lot of fanfare a couple of years ago and only seven months back he had actually signed a professional contract with the London club. But as things go, or as they didn’t go for Hubert, he has been sold to Cracovia Krakow in Poland as he looks to make a big impact for his new club.

Hubert Adamczyk plays mostly in an attacking midfielder’s role and the 17-year-old was considered as one of the bets young talents to come out from Poland in recent years. He was signed into the Chelsea youth setup and was expected to make a big impact for the club but that hasn’t transpired for the youngster.

Home calling for Hubert Adamczyk

Adamczyk is a fast and very tricky forward with a lot technique and blessed with great ball control, he is also known for his incredible ability to pick out players and has great vision despite being so young.

There was one major problem with him and that was his physique and that could be one reason why he was not able to make a bigger mark in the Chelsea team. The Premier League is one of the toughest leagues in the world and unfortunately for Adamczyk, his development has not been according to plan.

Adamczyk though can also play as a striker thanks to his pace and that could be the position for him at his new club in Poland. He might not have the presence that many other top midfielders have but a change in position could do wonders for a player who was considered to be the brightest talent from Poland.

He is also extremely inventive with the ball at his feet and that will be something that he would want to show at Krakow. This is just another example of a youngster moving to a big club and hoping to break into the first team or at least get to play for a top Premier League or English club. Adamczyk though has a chance to resurrect his career and prove to everyone that he is the article that many expected him to be.

Adamczyk still is young and maybe he can work on those aspects of his game which actually is a hindrance to him at the moment. It will be interesting to see how his progress goes in Poland and who knows he could be making a return to one of Europe’s top leagues soon.
