As the summer transfer window gets closer, there are a hoard of speculations running wild one such speculation which can be more described as a rumor will be the news of the Reds looking to bring in their former goalkeeper Pepe Reina into the Anfield in the summer.
Simon Mignolet has been a constant disappointment for the Reds this season, more so due to inconsistencies in his form. However the Reds have signed a new five year deal with the player. Further the Reds have also signed German goalkeeper Loris Karius, who looks set to challenge the first team goalkeeper’s place next season.
While Reina left the Anfield unceremoniously, the player is believed not to have burnt all the bridge with the Reds as his main problem lay with the then manager Brendan Rogers. Further, Reina will be an experienced back up player that the Reds are looking to bring him in for.
