Having started his debut season in the Premier League with a bang, Pep Guardiola was halted in fine fashion at the White Hart Lane before the international break. Pochettino’s side gave the Citizens their first loss in all competitions this season but the incredible start to the season sees them stay at the top of the table. They face a similar task after the international break when they welcome Ronald Koeman’s Everton side that were beaten just once so far this season. It will be an exciting game with both teams showing some form and here is Manchester City’s predicted lineup for this game:

Team News:

The manager will be happy to welcome back star striker Sergio Aguero back from an injury that he picked on international duty. He is expected to start this game for the hosts. Bacary Sagna (hamstring), Vincent Kompany (groin) and playmaker Kevin De Bruyne (hamstring) are all but ruled out for this game while Raheem Sterling and Fabian Delph are facing a race to fitness before kickoff.

Claudio Bravo:

Though having made a nervy start to his career in England, Bravo is slowly adjusting to the league and will start this game against Everton.

Pablo Zabaleta:

The Argentine has been decent since coming back into the squad and he will have a tough job at hand against the Toffees at the weekend.

John Stones:

Facing his former team for the first time this season, Stones, will be nervy but he has been superb so far this season and keep up his good work.

Nicolas Otamendi:

Injury to Kompany has seen Otamendi take up a place in the heart of the City defense and will have to be at his best for his side to take all three points from this game.

Aleksandar Kolarov:

Arguably one of the best players in his position so far this season, Kolarov will keep his place in the side and will hope to have a decent impact on the game at the weekend.

Fernandinho:

The midfielder has been in decent for this season for Guardiola and though he needs to improve, he will take a place in the midfield for this game for City.

Jesus Navas:

The pacey winger has adjusted the style of the manager well early this season but he will have to improve and be at his best for this game against the Toffees.

Ilkay Gundogan:

The summer buy for Guardiola is slowly getting used to the Premier League and will be an important player for the side in due time. He should start the game at the weekend.

David Silva:

One of the stars this season for Guardiola, David Silva is bang in form at the moment and will have a huge responsibility on his hands against Everton.

Nolito:

Showing no signs of rustiness in changing the leagues in the summer, Nolito has been a great addition to the City squad and he should keep his place in the side for this game.

Sergio Aguero:

An injury he picked up on international duty is not enough to keep Aguero out as the Argentine, who is in a supreme goalscoring form, will be all fit to start this clash against Everton.
