Tottenham Player Ratings vs West Ham: Here’s how the Lilywhites fared

Tottenham Hotspur came away with a hard fought 1-0 victory against West Ham United in the league as they move up to 3rd place for now. Mauricio Pochettino’s men were tested on many occasions but held their nerve to ultimately win all the three points.

Erik Lamela continued his fine form this season with another goal, courtesy of an assist from Moussa Sissoko. West Ham striker Marko Arnautovic came close on many occasions but failed to find the back of the net.

Trippier was defensively very good but failed to provide much going forward. His crosses were all well dealt with by the defenders.

Davinson Sanchez (6/10)

Davies was unable to offer much and was often caught high up the field.

Despite the assist, Sissoko was poor in this game and often gave away the ball on many occasions.

Eric Dier (6/10)

Dier was defensively fruitful but his passing was slightly off the pace and he often slowed down the counter.

Harry Winks (7/10)

Winks twisted and turned in the middle of the park and held onto the ball well. His distribution in the midfield was very good as well.

Erik Lamela (8/10)

Another superb performance from the Argentinian who really is making an impact for Spurs this season. Lamela created a number of opportunities and scored the only goal of the game.

Lucas Moura (6/10)

Moura threatened with his pace on the ball but was easily taken down by defenders. The Brazilian’s form has dipped after a good start to the season.
