The Rangers fought back from a goal down to triumph 3-1 against SK Rapid Wien in the Europa League. The Gers put on a show in front of the Ibrox faithful and now on top of their group table.

Rangers Player Ratings

Allan McGregor (6/10)

Didn’t have too much to do in this game and endured a quiet night. He was unable to do anything about the goal that was conceded.

James Tavernier (8/10)

Another immense performance from the Rangers captain who defended solidly and surged forward at the right time. He whipped in a great ball for Morelos to score his first and got on the scoresheet himself.

James Tavernier

Connor Goldson (7/10)

Did well defensively and bombed forward at the right time. He got better as the night went on.

Joe Worrall (6/10)

He won everything in the air and effectively cleared his lines. However, he was dragged out of position once or twice.

Jon Flanagan (6/10)

Did well to cut out the passes down the channel and defended well on the night. He had his work cut out.

Lassana Coulibaly (6/10)

Was an important shield in front of the back-four. A superb game from the Mali international whose work rate was brilliant.

Ovie Ejaria (7/10)

Bounced back after a couple of poor performances. He dictated the tempo well in the middle of the park.

Daniel Candeias (7/10)

Struggled to make an impact in the first half but looked much better in the second. It was a delightful backheel from him to assist the goal that clinched the game.

Scott Arfield (8/10)

Covered a lot of green and tracked down players whenever he had to. His work rate was excellent.

Ryan Kent (6/10)

Another mixed performance from the on-loan Liverpool winger. He caused trouble with his pace and directness on the ball

Alfredo Morelos (9/10)

Scored two well-taken goals to cap off an impressive performance. He really is a gem of striker.

Alfredo Morelos

Substitutes

Andy Halliday (5/10)

Helped his team see out the game after coming on as a substitute for Arfield in the 90th minute.
