Danny Ward
Having failed to make the cut at Liverpool, it could be time for such a talented keeper to reunite with his former boss at Parkhead and show the world the top quality he is made of.
The Wales international has made just 2 Premier League appearances for the Reds and having been on loan at 3 clubs already, it could be time to finally move on permanently as he seeks to challenge Wayne Hennessey for the goalkeeping berth in the national team, ahead of Russia 2018.
Ward is currently at Huddersfield Town on a season-long loan and has made 30 Championship appearances thus far, having already established himself as the team’s first-choice goalkeeper for the 3rd placed team on the log.
With Gordon on Chelsea’s radar ahead of the summer transfer window, getting a long-term replacement is pertinent for Celtic, and they can get a top quality one in Danny Ward.
Sheyi Ojo
Another exciting Liverpool former pupil of Rodgers’ that can be added to the Celtic squad is young winger Sheyi Ojo, who hasn’t had the opportunity to continue his development at Anfield.
Despite 8 Premier League appearances last term after getting recalled from a loan spell with Wolverhampton Wanderers, the 19-year-old England youth international has played just twice this term – both in the F.A Cup and is better off away from Anfield next term – temporarily or permanently.
The Celtic Park would be a perfect place for Ojo to hit the peak of his potentials, and he can be a great addition to their attack on the continental level due to his excellent dribbling and set-piece abilities.
Louis Moult
With Dembele’s future up in the air, the Motherwell striker would be a perfect like-for-like replacement who’d able to fit into the shoes of the French youngster.
Moult has proven his worth and consistency through the years and is just 3 league goals behind Dembele this term having hit 10 goals for Motherwell in 21 starts.
His deadly finishing has seen him become a potential hot cake ahead of the summer transfer window, and he was widely targeted by top clubs in January.
Moult has the striking abilities to take Europe by storm, and Celtic can provide him that opportunity if they make a deserved move for his signature ahead of 2017-18.
