3 Realistic Transfer Targets For Manchester United Including A Real Madrid Star

Having signed Luke Shaw and Ander Hererra already, Manchester United are in  no mood to stop their spending spree as the Red Devils aim to spend more to improve the squad before the start of next season. With Champions Laague football missing on the platter, executive Vice Chairman Ed Woodward wants to take advantage of United’s global brand image to attract players to Old Trafford. While there have been a lot of players linked over the summer, we take a look at three realistic transfer targets for the 20 time Premier League Champions.

1. Daryl Janmaat:

According major English tabloid Daily Mail, the Red Devils have already approached Feyenoord for acquiring the services of Daryl Janmaat, the versatile right wing back who has impressed Louis Van Gaal with his show in the world Cup. The 24 year old has just one year remaining in his contract for the Dutch outfit who expect that the player will leave the club in the summer. As the defense requires major changes as Van Gaal takes over, the 62 year old legendary manager believes that Janmaat remains a key player to his unconventional 5-3-2 or 4-3-3 tactical setup.  Janmaat who primarily plays as a right back is certainly a better defender than Rafael and can also put a major shift in as a right wing back constantly shuttling up and down with his tireless runs.
