Top 3 Manchester United Players To Pick For This Week’s Fantasy Premier League

Finally, the international break has come to an end and we’ll be getting the Premier League action back. The 12th week of the season is upon us and there’s not much time to make adjustments or to rest the legs after those national team commitments.

The most important match of the week will be the one that opens the matchday. Jose and his inconsistent Manchester United will receive Arsene Wenger and his red hot Arsenal team in a very interesting matchup with title implications for both sides.

Mourinho has been always one or two steps ahead of Wenger, but momentum is in the Gunners’ favour right now, so it’ll be quite important for the Portuguese boss to make some key adjustments if he doesn’t want to be embarrassed one more time this season.

So, let’s take a look at what we think could be the 3 best choices from Manchester United for your fantasy team, as The Special One is set for another challenge and so are you, so let’s go.

Paul Pogba

The Frenchman showed once again what he’s capable of during this international break, being by far France’s most determinant guy and helping the team achieve their goal. Pogba hasn’t been the most consistent player this season, but you just can’t overlook this kind of talent and you’ll just have to throw him on the pitch and hope for the best.

He won’t have an easy task playing against that top of the notch Arsenal defense, but Pogba is talented enough to create his own shots and set his teammates up. Besides, since he won’t have the pressure of letting the ball to Zlatan, he might as well take things into his own hands (or feet) and try to finish the plays by himself.

Marcus Rashford

The youngster is set for a start at the center of the opposing box, as Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be out for this matchup due to a suspension for accumulation of yellow cards, and we all know what this kid’s capable of as he’s shown it dozens of times since his first team debut the past season.

Rashford has been playing out of position in order to make room for Ibrahimovic, but he’ll thrive when going back to his preferred spot, and Manchester United fans are going to take a look at their striker for many years to come.

David De Gea

This one promises to be another low scoring game, as Mourinho often settles for ties against strongly offensive contending teams (remember that awfully boring game at Anfield), so a clean sheet from the best goalkeeper in the league will definitely earn you some nice points.

However, he won’t have an easy task containing Alexis Sanchez, Theo Walcott and Mesut Ozil, so you can count on some key saves from the Spaniard as well. De Gea’s having a very good year despite his team’s defensive struggles, so go ahead and feel free to plug him into your lineup if you haven’t done it yet.
