This gives a great chance to the 25 year old Dutchman Alexander Buttner to stomp his authority in the United squad. The former Vitesse Arnhem man has just played about twenty games for United, a modest return given his one and half years at Manchester. Buttner though inexperienced and quite young has the willingness to run the extra mile for his club, a testament of his quality shown in the very few appearances he has had in a United shirt. He is very energetic barging forward at will and has a sublime left foot to pulverise crosses in from the flanks.
