Top 5 Creative Players In The Premier League So Far Featuring Arsenal And Man City Stars

Top 5 Creative Players In The Premier League After 12 Games

The Premier League this season has been a treat to watch, with almost every big club showing great resilience at the start of the season. Up to six clubs are already in a serious battle to end up in the top-4 spots and it is important for all six clubs to keep their squads fresh for the whole of the season.

The squads in England are among the best in Europe and it does not come as a surprise that some of the most creative players from top leagues around Europe hail from the Premier League. But who have been the most creative players in the English top flight?

Here are the top-5 players who have created most chances for their sides, 12 games into the season:

5. David Silva (Manchester City) – 31

Manchester City’s second-best creator this season, Silva has made 31 chances for his teammates to feed on, with 23 key passes, 1 goal and 8 assists. He is weaving his magic for City, season after season and seems to be flourishing under Pep Guardiola’s shrewd tactics. He is leading the assists chart in the Premier League right now and the fact that he’s 5th in this list shows how efficient Man City attackers have been.

City’s attack has simply been sensational this season and it isn’t surprising to see two of their midfielders make it to this list, with the other one being further up the list. You will find out who it is as you continue reading the article (I reckon you’d have already guessed who it is!).

4. Christian Eriksen (Tottenham Hotspur) – 32

Christian Eriksen has been having a lacklustre campaign for Tottenham this season so far but has still managed to make it to this list of top most creators of the season. Eriksen has been Spurs’ most creative player this season so far and has created 32 chances in 14 outings. He has also made 30 key passes and has 3 goals and 2 assists to his name.

3. Mesut Ozil (Arsenal) – 39

The German playmaker has constantly been linked with an exit at the end of the current season but that seems to have no effect on his form in front of goal. Though he has just 2 goals to his name, Ozil has created 39 clear-cut chances this season, picking up 5 assists and 34 key passes, standing as the most creative player for the Gunners this season.

2. Cesc Fabregas (Chelsea) – 40

The Spanish midfielder has been preferred in an attacking role this season by Antonio Conte and he has not let the Italian gaffer down at all. Playing as a part of the midfield trio in a 3-5-2 system, Fabregas has created 40 goalscoring chances this season and has 3 assists and 37 key passes to his name this season. At 30, he is showing no signs of slowing down and is the second most creative player in the English top flight this season.

1. Kevin de Bruyne (Manchester City) – 43

The most creative player this season, Kevin de Bruyne, is easily one of the most consistent playmakers in Europe at the moment. With 4 goals and 7 assists to add to his 43 chances created, De Bruyne has been the heartbeat of the Manchester City side, that seem to be running away with the PL title this season. He has registered 36 key passes as well and remains the most impressive player in front of goal in the entire league.
