Gareth McAuley (West Bromwich Albion)
The veteran defender continues to defy age and start week after week at the heart of the Baggies’ defence and along with Jonny Evans, has formed one of the meanest backlines in the Premier League. Tony Pulis’ sides are often the hardest to break down. So more often than not, you are in for a clean sheet and what’s more, McAuley chips in with goals on regular occasions as well.
