Tosun to lead the line, Bolasie and Walcott on the wings – Predicted 4-2-3-1 Everton XI to face Swansea

Predicted Everton Line-up To Face Swansea City In The Premier League

Everton come into this game on the back of the Merseyside derby, which they will have been disappointed to not have got anything from. However, looking back, a 0-0 draw against Liverpool is a great result for any team at this stage of the season.

Unfortunately, Everton do not have too much to play for anymore, as they sit 9th in the Premier League. They are safe but are 8 points off Europe and are unlikely to catch Burnley. The final games of the season are more for pride than anything else and it will be interesting to see what happens, with a summer of big decisions to be made by the Toffees.

Probable Everton XI

Manager: Sam Allardyce

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Jordan Pickford (GK)

The young goalkeeper has had a solid season for Everton, showing glimpses of incredible potential. He still needs to work on some aspects of his game but has a bright future ahead of him.

Leighton Baines (LB)

Since coming back from his injury, Baines has been in very good form and it just shows how much Everton missed him at the start of the season. He has two goals and two assists to his name and will be looking to grab a few more.

Jordan Pickford

Michael Keane (CB)

Michael Keane has not had the easiest of seasons at Everton. He hasn’t looked nearly as solid as he did for Burnley and will be disappointed that his new team are finishing below them as well. Will be looking for a better season next time out.

Phil Jagielka (CB)

The 35-year-old has had a good season for Everton and his legs haven’t given way yet. Has performed very well in the last few games and will be hoping for a few more career clean sheets to end the season.

Seamus Coleman (RB)

It is great to see Seamus Coleman back from his injury. On his day, he is one of the best right-backs in the Premier League.

Wayne Rooney

Morgan Schneiderlin (CM)

The 28-year-old midfield destroyer has flourished for Everton this season and it looks like he’s back to his best now. He is getting some consistent first-team football. He dominates the midfield and breaks up the play well.

Idrissa Gueye (CM)

Another defensive minded player who sits in the middle of the park for Everton and breaks up the opposition’s play.

Wayne Rooney (CAM)

Rooney was not very happy to come off in the Merseyside derby but this is the sort of passion that Sam adores. Wayne will be hoping to put in a better display against Swansea and get back amongst the goals.

Theo Walcott

Yannick Bolasie (LW)

Bolasie is still returning to full fitness after his injury and can, therefore, be forgiven a little for only getting one goal and zero assists in the 8 starts that he has made since coming back.

Theo Walcott (RW)

Walcott has been in top form since his move from Arsenal. He has 2 goals and 2 assists in 10 outings so far and will be looking to push on for the Toffees.

Cenk Tosun (ST)

The powerful striker had an interesting start to life in the Premier League but he now has 4 goals in 7 games and is looking like an excellent buy for Everton. On track to becoming one of their key men next season.
