Player stats

The Danish international has made 26 appearances in Serie A this season.

His performance has drawn interests from European giants like Manchester United, Arsenal and  Borussia Dortmund.

The 21-year-old  spent his youth career at Danish local club Greve and  FC Copenhagen.

He made his senior debut at FC Twente where he won the U-19 talent of the year 2015 before joining the Italian club.

Andersen is highly known for his long-range passes, judging the opponent’s movement, and tackling skills.

Why Tottenham should pursue?

The North London side has seen hardly any incoming players in the past transfer windows.

The Danish youngster would be a perfect replacement for Toby Alderweireld who is speculated to leave this summer and ageing Jan Vertonghen.

Possibilities

This is the  second meeting since mid-February between the personnel of both the clubs and it indicates the sign of a potential transfer.

The defender has been labelled the price tag of €25m (h/t Sports Witness) an affordable one for Spurs who haven’t largely splurged on any players in the past.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men are awaiting their opponents for the Champions League quarterfinals.

They are currently third in the Premier league table and are battling hard to secure their place in the top four.
