Mohammadi progressed through the youth ranks of his country’s club Niroo Zamini.

He began his professional career with Rah Ahan and subsequently had his trial at Austrian Bundesliga side Sturm Graz.

He later opted on a move to the Russian Premier League and has made more than 70 appearances for Akhmat Grozny till now.

Mohammadi also made it to the list of top 50 U-23 Asian talents in 2017.

Why Should Hoops make a move for Mohammadi?

The Iranian full-back offers a lot to a side with his versatility. The Hoops are highly reliable on Kieran Tierney, who is their preferred left-back.

Mohammadi can reduce the burden of Tierney by providing him cover and at the same time, he has the tendency to play as a natural winger. These traits would make him a perfect fit for Neil Lennon’s side.

The Hoops are on the verge of clinching their eighth straight Premiership title.

Lennon, the interim manager, has led his side to seven wins without facing any defeat.

And last month’s Old Firm derby win solidified his position to become permanent manager of the Celts.

He also led his side to the Scottish Cup finals, which will be played this month.  And the Park Head fans are confident of winning a domestic treble this season.
