Manchester United have wasted no time in showing their intent to get back to the winning ways as they have made some marquee signings and have roped in a big name manager in the form of Louis van Gaal. And all this have made the Red Devils faithful excited about their prospects for next season, as they are keenly following the impressive run of the Netherlands team led by their manager in the World Cup.
But it is not a one way run, where United can only be satisfied with the incoming players to strengthen their team. They also will have to think about getting rid of some of the deadwoods from their team, who have not contributed much over the years or who would not fit the style of van Gaal. In the World Cup, he was regularly in the squad. But still could not have the impact that was expected of him and now it seems United have made their mind up to sell him. Newcastle United are interested in him and so are his former club Everton.
