The Premier League is one of the most competitive leagues in Europe and is also one of the richest. Hence, it does not come as a surprise that the biggest stars in the sport are always looking for a way to get into the Premier League. Clubs around the country never back down from spending on top transfer targets and this has always seen some star players join the lower clubs in the league as well. This summer will not be anything different, with a number of star players yet against linked with a move to the Premier League. With the business end of the season almost upon us, the clubs in the PL are already looking to lure top transfer targets to their clubs and here are 5 players who could be joining the Premier League next season:
Isco (Real Madrid):
One of the many unsettle stars at the Bernabeu, Isco, is one of the most exciting players in the Spanish domestic circuit but he is unable to get into the first team under Zinedine Zidane this season and is looking for an exit. He had recently spoken about his interest in PSG but Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are ready to offer him mouthwatering wages to get him to the Premier League. It will be up to him to choose his next club, but if the papers are to be believed, Isco is surely coming to England in the summer.
Bernardo Silva (AS Monaco):
The 22-year old Portuguese midfielder is among the most exciting youngsters in Europe at the moment and is a transfer target for a few clubs in the Premier League. Manchester United reportedly have the first option to lure him to the Old Trafford but Antonio Conte’s Chelsea and Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City are both interested in his signature. He is up for a move and the French outfit are ready to offload him to a club which is ready to meet their valuation of around £70m this summer.
Victor Lindelof (SL Benfica):
One of the biggest transfer sagas of the January transfer window, Victor Lindelof is currently in Portugal, but Manchester United have been heavily linked with the Benfica star. However, it is now understood that the two parties have come to an agreement over a sale in the summer and Lindelof is just a step away from Old Trafford. However, Manchester United’s qualification for the Champions League can affect their chances of buying Lindelof but for a club of United’s stature, it should not be a real problem.
Ryan Sessegnon (Fulham):
Having put in a stunning performance against Spurs in the FA Cup tie earlier this week, Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon is attracting more and more interest from top clubs in the Premier League. At just 16, he has already announced himself as one of the best in the domestic circuit in England and it is now understood that he is up for a move to the top flight this summer. A host of Premier League clubs including Manchester City and Liverpool are interested in his signature and it is almost assured that he is ready for the big step.
Sead Kolasinac (FC Schalke):
The 23-year old Bosnia international Kolasinac is one of the very few top quality full-backs who could be up for grabs in the summer transfer window. He is out of contract at the end of the season and Schalke are interested in renewing his contract. However, talks have not progressed well for more than a couple of months now. Arsenal, Liverpool, and Chelsea are all looking to add to their backline and are scouting the Bundesliga star who might move to England on a free transfer in the summer.
