Who Could Be In? Who Could Be Out? A List of Possible Transfers For Each Premier League Club

Now that the transfer window is officially open, let us have a look at the possible transfers for all the 20 EPL clubs; both transfers in and transfers out.

ARSENAL 

POTENTIAL ARRIVALS : David Villa, Ba

Manager Arsene Wenger is looking to strengthen across the board to breathe fresh life into Arsenal’s push for a top four finish. A striker tops Wenger’s shopping list, with David Villa or Demba Ba a possible target .

POTENTIAL DEPARTURES :
Marouane Chamakh, Andrey Arshavin, Andre Santos, Johan Djourou, Sebastien Squillaci.

ASTON VILLA :

POTENTIAL ARRIVALS : John Guidetti, Derek Boateng
Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert spent £23million during the summer, placed his trust in youth and fielded the youngest ever Premier League side this season with an average age of less than 24. Manchester City’s 20-year-old striker John Guidetti is a possible loan target while Dnipro’s £2million-rated midfielder Derek Boateng is also on Lambert’s radar.

CHELSEA 

POTENTIAL ARRIVALS : Radamel Falcao, Demba Ba, David Villa,Alvaro Negredo,Paulinho
Interim manager Rafael Benitez has all but confirmed Chelsea are trying to sign a new striker but it remains to be seen whether they will spend big on the likes of Radamel Falcao or look for a cut-price alternative, such as Demba Ba, David Villa or Alvaro Negredo. A new midfielder could also arrive.

EVERTON 

POTENTIAL ARRIVALS : Kevin Gameiro
Financial constraints mean David Moyes does not expect to be busy in the window but he would ideally like to add some more firepower if he can and has been looking at Paris St Germain striker Kevin Gameiro.

FULHAM 

POTENTIAL ARRIVALS : Bent

England striker Darren Bent could be on his way to Craven Cottage.

The departures of Mousa Dembele and Clint Dempsey late in the summer window have left Fulham light, meaning a central midfielder and centre-back are vital additions.

POTENTIAL DEPARTURES :
Pajtim Kasami, Brede Hangeland, David Stockdale, Csaba Somogyi and Mickael Tavares.

LIVERPOOL 

POTENTIAL ARRIVALS : Daniel Sturridge,Jack Butland,Tom Ince
Manager Brendan Rodgers has admitted he does not have much to spend in January and a deal for Chelsea forward Daniel Sturridge, which is virtually done, will take up the vast chunk of his budget. Blackpool winger Tom Ince is the other signing the club are hopeful of wrapping up early on while Rodgers continues to be linked with Birmingham’s Jack Butland despite saying he would not be signing a goalkeeper in January.

MANCHESTER CITY 

POTENTIAL ARRIVALS : Mats Hummels, Neven Subotic,Nicolas N’Koulou

Borussia Dortmund central defensive pair Mats Hummels and Neven Subotic have emerged as targets for Roberto Mancini.

Roberto Mancini has repeatedly played down speculation he could dip into the market but it will not go away and there is a feeling fresh blood could add impetus to City’s title challenge, although some high earners might have to be moved on first.
Marseilles defender Nicolas N’Koulou is also being monitored as a potential centre-half partner to captain Vincent Kompany.Manchester City continue to pursue Radomel Falcao and David Villa

MANCHESTER UNITED 

POTENTIAL ARRIVALS : Wilfried Zaha
Sir Alex Ferguson says he is happy with his squad and January is not a time when he does a lot of business. But don’t discount a new signing, even if the actual player does not arrive until the summer.

NEWCASTLE 

POTENTIAL ARRIVALS : Loic Remy, Mathieu Debuchy, Douglas
lan Pardew knows he needs at least one, if not two or three additions to a squad ravaged by injuries during the opening half of the campaign with Marseille striker Loic Remy, Lille full-back Mathieu Debuchy and FC Twente defender Douglas among his major targets, although much will depend on whether or not Demba Ba remains on the books at the end of January.

NORWICH 

POTENTIAL ARRIVALS : Glenn Murray.  Marouane Chamakh
Norwich could look to add another striker to their squad as they have managed only 20 goals so far in the league. A move for a goalkeeper is a possibility with England international John Ruddy sidelined following a groin operation. Norwich will table a £3million offer for Crystal Palace striker Glenn Murray. Arsenal’s Marouane Chamakh is another target.

QPR 

POTENTIAL ARRIVALS : Nicolas Anelka,Mevlut Erdinc,Ricardo Carvalho,Joe Cole,Sylvain Distin and Momo Diame
Where do we start? QPR’s miserable season is due in no small part to their completely unbalanced squad. Nicolas Anelka is being targeted to fill the large void in attack, while central defence is another area requiring improvements.

Harry Redknapp is lining up January moves for Rennes striker Mevlut Erdinc, Everton’s Sylvain Distin, Liverpool’s Joe Cole and Momo Diame of West Ham.
QPR are also interested in Real Madrid’s 34-year-old midfielder Ricardo Carvalho who is available on a free in the summer.

READING 

POTENTIAL ARRIVALS : Andrey Arshavin.Daniel Carrico,
The realisation at Reading that they failed to strengthen sufficiently during the summer may have come too late. Manager Brian McDermott is looking for two to three players with top-flight experience. Expect Andrey Arshavin to be one of them.
Reading became the first EPL club to officially announce a signing in the January transfer window on Monday night with the capture of Sporting Lisbon defender Daniel Carrico.

SOUTHAMPTON 

POTENTIAL ARRIVALS : Jack Butland,Davide Astori
Saints’ defence may have improved recently but a centre-back is still a high priority. A new goalkeeper could be a wily addition, while more attacking options would not go amiss with survival in mind.
Southampton want to boost squad by signing goalkeeper Jack Butlandand centre-half Davide Astori in £13m swoop.

Danny Fox, Tadanari Lee, Danny Butterfield, Steve de Ridder, Sam Hoskins, Ryan Dickson and Jonathan Forte.

STOKE 

POTENTIAL ARRIVALS : Solomon Asante, Luke Murphy.

Ghana international Solomon Asante has impressed in the African Champions League with club side Bekerum Chelsea. Has been strongly liked with a move to Stoke.

Stoke head a long list of clubs wanting the signature of Crewe Alexandra’s 23-year-old midfielder Luke Murphy.

POTENTIAL DEPARTURES : Wilson Palacios, Cameron Jerome, Rory Delap.

Boss Tony Pulis has made it clear he has no intention of letting any of his key players – such as skipper Ryan Shawcross or goalkeeper Asmir Begovic – leave in January, while indicating he will be looking to “bring one or two in”.

SUNDERLAND 

POTENTIAL ARRIVALS : Danny Rose,Andreas Granqvist,Tim Cahill
Martin O’Neill has made no secret of his desire to strengthen further in January. Striking a permanent deal for on-loan Tottenham full-back Danny Rose could be a focus, and he has also been linked with a move for Genoa defender Andreas Granqvist, while extra physicality in central midfield is something he feels he needs to add.
Tim Cahill is at the centre of talks between New York Red Bulls and Sunderland as the north-east club look to lure the ex-Everton midfielder back to the Premier League.

Swansea City

POTENTIAL ARRIVALS : Iago Aspas, David Villa

Michael Laudrup has signalled his intentions to make a bid for Celta Vigo striker Iago Aspas and also hinted that Danny Graham would be allowed to leave.

Manager Michael Laudrup has laughed off reports linking him with a loan move for Barcelona and Spain striker David Villa.

POTENTIAL DEPARTURES : Michu. The Spanish International who signed for only £2m in the summer may be sold if Laudrup receives a big enough offer. Atletico Madrid seem keen to take him back to Spain.

Tottehnam Hotspur

POTENTIAL ARRIVALS : Pedro Obiang,Wesley Sneijder

Tottenham are set to sign Sampdoria defensive midfielder Pedro Obiang ahead of a large chasing pack.

Wesley Sneijder, a £25m target for Manchester United last year, will be available for around half that following a row with Inter Milan. Tottenham Chairman Daniel Levy is interested as Spurs look to strengthen for a push towards Champions League qualification.

POTENTIAL DEPARTURES : Gareth Bale

Real Madrid have stepped up their pursuit of Gareth Bale by putting together a £33 million bid to try and prise him away from White Hart Lane.

West Brom : Extended loan of Lukaku

POTENTIAL ARRIVALS :

Good news for Albion. Romelu Lukaku wants to remain at the Hawthorns for the remainder of the season despite Chelsea’s interest in taking him back to Stamford Bridge.

POTENTIAL DPARTURES : Craig Dawson

22-year-old England Under-21 defender Craig Dawson, who signed for Albion from Rochdale in 2010 before being lent back to Scotland, is a target for Championship side Bolton Wanderers. 


West Ham United : 

POTENTIAL ARRIVALS : Gael Givet, Joe Cole, Nicolas Anelka

West Ham are lining up a move for Blackburn defender Gael Givet.

Joe Cole could end his Anfield nightmare with a return to the club where he began his career.

But Hammers manager Sam Allardyce fears Cole’s former Chelsea team-mate Nicolas Anelka will be priced out of a move to Upton Park.

Wigan Athletic : 

POTENTIAL ARRIVALS : Angelo Henriquez

Wigan are expected to sign Angelo Henriquez on loan from Manchester United. “We are glad we can work with him and he can use Wigan as Tom Cleverley did and adapt to what is needed in this league,” said manager Roberto Martinez.

POTENTIAL Departures : Franco Di Santo

Striker Franco Di Santo, 23, is the subject of interest from Liverpool. Brendan Rodgers worked with the Argentine at Chelsea.
