Liverpool beating Man United to sign this world-class magician would have a big say on their future

Liverpool Opinion – Klopp should beat the Red Devils to sign Isco

According to a report in Daily Mail (h/t Tuttosport), Premier League duo Liverpool and Manchester United are considering a summer swoop for Real Madrid playmaker Isco.

The 26-year-old’s future at the Bernabeu is in grave doubt after an inconsistent season and new manager Santiango Solari is not selecting him on a regular basis.

The Spaniard has been named just five times in the La Liga this campaign and has spent much time on the bench. (Daily Mail)

Here’s why Liverpool should beat Manchester United and to some extent , Juventus to the signature of the Spaniard:

Liverpool’s need of a playmaker is a must

Under Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool have made significant progress towards challenging for the league title this season. This has followed a great run to the final of the Champions League last year, signifying the widespread improvement made by the German.

But as we witness, the Reds are failing to create chances when it comes to playing very deep defending teams. This raises the question as to whether they are lacking someone with guile, who can unlock the parked buses.

Isco certainly is someone who falls in that category. The Spaniard can play as a number 10 in between the lines and work small spaces into big things.

He has great close-control of the ball and always seems to have an extra second in possession to have a look up and survey the situation ahead of him.

With Liverpool already having willing runners in their front-line, Isco would love spraying balls that dovetails with the forward runs, ultimately breaking down stubborn parked defences.

Conclusion

If Liverpool need something in their squad – it is the creativity in attacking midfield. If they are to challenge on all fronts from next season, signing Isco would help them a lot. The 26-year-old is at his peak age and can make a significant impact at Anfield.
