Wilder to make 2 changes – Predicted 3-5-1-1 Sheffield United line-up to face Millwall

Predicted Sheffield United Line-up To Face Millwall In The EFL Championship

Sheffield United put an end to their bad run of form against Middlesbrough, in what was a big result in the Championship playoff race.

They played excellently and actually gave their next opposition, Millwall, a place in the playoffs.

They will now be looking to beat Millwall and take that place in the playoffs for themselves, as the scramble for 5th and the 6th place really heats up.

Probable Sheffield United XI

Manager: Chris Wilder

Formation: 3-5-1-1

Jamal Blackman (GK)

Blackman is back from his suspension and is likely to return to the side as Moore has not been great since coming in.

Jack O’Connell (CB)

O’Connell played well against Middlesbrough and dominated at the back. Will be hoping to continue his form against a difficult Millwall attacking line.

Chris Basham

Richard Stearman (CB)

Stearman returns from injury and given the form of the other Sheffield United centre-backs, he should fit straight back into the team. He has had a good season and will be hoping to push on for the last few games now.

Chris Basham (CB)

Chris Basham had a good game against Middlesbrough and the central defender has been on a good run of form for Sheffield United recently. Would be looking for another good performance on Saturday.

George Baldock (RWB)

The 25-year-old wing-back is an essential player in Wilder’s eleven as he is the best wing-back they have.

Enda Stevens

Enda Stevens (LWB)

Stevens had a decent game against Middlesbrough and balances well with Baldock on the other side, getting up and down the wing and providing a threat out wide.

John Fleck (CM)

The 26-year-old has had a good season for Sheffield United but wasn’t at his best against Middlesbrough. Will be looking for an improved performance against Millwall.

Lee Evans (CM)

The Welsh central midfielder looked like a fantastic talent for Sheffield United against Middlesbrough and won the match pretty much single-handedly for the Blades. They were actually his first two goals of the season and he will be looking to get a few more before time runs out.

John Lundstram

John Lundstram (CM)

Lundstram is there to add some bite and passing talent to the Sheffield United central midfield, and he will be looking to improve on his performance against Middlesbrough.

David Brooks (AMC)

The young attacking midfielder had a fantastic game against Middlesbrough and will be looking to make the difference again for the Blades against Millwall.

Leon Clarke (ST)

The experienced 33-year-old striker is joint second on the Championship top-scorers list and will be looking to get back in amongst the goals after drawing a blank against Middlesbrough.
