Arsene Wenger reveals the team news ahead of Arsenal’s crucial match against Liverpool. During his pre-match press conference today, Wenger briefed about the conditions of Arteta and Wilshere and it looks like the duo would be fit to start the game.
“We might have JackWilshere back for Liverpool, and Arteta will be alright”
When asked about his thoughts on the match, Wenger said:
“We need to dominate the game in order to keep Suarez and Sturridge quiet. We must control possession. Saturday is a good moment for us to win a big game because we have a big month ahead”
“We had some good wins at Anfield. I have a lot of respect for the fans there, they know their football. “The closer you get to the end, the more vital every game becomes. But we are enjoying it and we have fought very hard”
“I think Liverpool are strong offensively with Sturridge, Suarez, Coutinho, Sterling and Gerrard”
