Predicted Arsenal Line-up To Face Brighton & Hove Albion In The Premier League
After a less than impressive start to the campaign, Arsenal are back to winning ways and have finally found some consistency. They have also done well in their European campaign and will now turn their attention to the league game against Brighton and Hove Albion this weekend. Chris Hughton’s side are fresh from a victory over Newcastle United last weekend but playing at the Emirates, they are not expected to take too much from this game.
However, that being said, the Gunners are still not at their best and if frustrated, can easily drop points. Here is the predicted lineup Arsene Wenger might field in search of three crucial points this weekend:
Team News
Francis Coquelin, Santi Cazorla and Danny Welbeck all remain injured ahead of this tie. Mesut Ozil remains unavailable for Sunday but his only a short-term absence. Alex Iwobi missed the Europa League game on Thursday but is expected to be fit for the weekend. Laurent Koscielny is a doubt for the clash as he is suffering an achilles problem.
Formation: 3-4-2-1
Manager: Arsene Wenger
GK – Petr Cech
The first choice shot-stopper for Arsenal, Cech has been in decent form this season and should start in goal ahead of David Ospina.
CB – Rob Holding
With Koscielny out injured, Holding should be given a start ahead of Per Mertesacker who played the full 90 against BATE Borisov. Considering the old age of Per’s legs, Holding might be a better option.

CB – Shkodran Mustafi
The German international was solid at the back against BATE and is expected to retain his place in the starting XI at the heart of the Arsenal defence.
CB – Nacho Monreal
Monreal’s experience will come in handy and it’ll be a crucial factor if Arsenal are to perform well defensively. A certain starter.
RWB – Hector Bellerin
The Spanish wing-back was also rested in the mid-week and should be raring to go against Chris Hughton’s side.

CM – Granit Xhaka
The Swiss ace has been struggling for form this season but he should get a start on Sunday. He adds mettle to his side’s midfield and it is vital.
CM – Aaron Ramsey
The Welsh international has been top notch this season and this game is a good opportunity for him to showcase his potential once again.
LWB – Sead Kolasinac
Having settled in well at the Emirates, Kolasinac is expected to have an easier game this weekend against Brighton.

RAM – Jack Wilshere
With Mesut Ozil unavailable, Wilshere could be given another start after an impressive Europa League outing, instead of Theo Walcott who basically adds nothing to Arsenal’s game.
LAM – Alexis Sanchez
The Chilean international has been effective in the few starts he has got this season and he will hope to go into the international break with a bang.
ST – Alexandre Lacazette
Though Giroud was effective in the mid-week, Wenger should go back to Lacazette to lead Arsenal’s line, in search of all three points this weekend.
Here’s how Arsenal might line up:
