Predicted Chelsea Line-up To Face Watford In The Premier League
Back to back losses have pushed Champions elect Chelsea down the points table in the domestic league and it does not get any easier for Antonio Conte’s men as they face Marco Silva’s Watford side, that has accumulated two points more than the Chelsea side this season so far. Chelsea are coming into the game on the back of a 3-3 draw against Roma in their mid-week UCL fixture and will need all their stars to be at their best to take three points from this game.
The Hornets beat Arsenal at home in the previous round but will have to work hard to get anything from this trip to Stamford Bridge.
Team News
Midfielders N’Golo Kante, Danny Drinkwater and Victor Moses are ruled out for this game against Watford. Striker Alvaro Morata was back in action in the mid-week and is expected to feature yet again while the likes of David Luiz, Gary Cahill and Tiemoue Bakayoko, who picked up small knocks recently, are expected to be fit for this clash.
Formation: 3-4-3
Manager: Antonio Conte
GK – Thibaut Courtois
The Belgian has been a rock at the back for Chelsea but has been out of form recently. He will hope to get a clean sheet in this game, to find some lost confidence.

CB – Cesar Azpilicueta
The Spaniard has admitted that the mood in the changing room isn’t great. He would want to make a point on the field to get his side back on track in the league.
CB – David Luiz
The Brazilian picked up a knock in the previous game but is expected to be fit and should start at the heart of the backline.
CB – Antonio Rudiger
With Gary Cahill still doubtful, Conte should stick with Rudiger in the backline, to give the English veteran some time to get back.

RWB – Davide Zappacosta
Moses remains Conte’s first choice RWB but he is ruled out of this game and should be replaced by the Italian full-back.
CM – Tiemoue Bakayoko
With limited options in the midfield, Conte should use Bakayoko, who also picked up a knock recently, as the deepest of the midfielders against the Hornets.
CM – Cesc Fabregas
The Spaniard will be in charge of keeping the game going by finding path-breaking passes to help Chelsea overcome their slump.
LWB – Marcos Alonso
Alonso has no real competition in the first team and should keep his place at left wing-back. Will be hoping to put in another great performance.

RW – Willian
The Brazilian has not been preferred over Pedro this season but to stretch the Watford defence, he might be given a chance on the right wing.
LW – Eden Hazard
The Belgian playmaker salvaged a point in the mid-week for the Blues and will hope to do save Chelsea’s day in the domestic circuit as well, against Watford.
ST – Alvaro Morata
The Spaniard was missed dearly by Chelsea in the last couple of games and his inclusion will surely make them a more dangerous side.
