Zidane to make 5 changes – Predicted 4-3-3 Real Madrid lineup to face Real Sociedad

Predicted Real Madrid Lineup To Face Real Sociedad In La Liga

Real Madrid host a resurgent Real Sociedad on the 11th of February as they look for a turnaround after having dropped points yet again, last time out. Most surprisingly, the Galacticos have won just 9 of their 18 matches at home. After having blazed past against Deportivo and Valencia, it looked like they were bringing back some flare. They have kept just one clean sheet in their last 8 outings. On the other hand, Sociedad ended their four-match losing streak with a massive 5-0 victory over relegation-threatened Deportivo.

Team News

Zidane has a full squad to choose from. There are no injury concerns.

Probable Real Madrid XI

Firstly, Real Madrid boss might change his squad and rest some of his big guns as they face an acid test in mid-week when Champions League returns, against Paris Saint Germain. He should plot a usual 4-3-3 lineup instead of a 4-1-3-2, as the former structure has provided their mojo back, due to an extra cover in midfield and more width. However, Zidane will not want to remove some key men out of the equation just by looking at midweek, as a top-four finish in La Liga is at stake as well.

Manager: Zinedine Zidane

Formation: 4-3-3

GK: Keylor Navas

Not been at his best this term but must lead his side to a clean sheet, something that would inspire the back-4. He is an excellent shot-stopper.

RB: Dani Carvajal

Carvajal is likely to keep his place down the right. He is expected to storm down the pitch and provide the goods into the box.

CB: Sergio Ramos

He was out for a few games before he returned to the lineup against Levante. Ramos is almost unbreakable at the back and one of the best attack-minded centre-backs in the world.

Sergio Ramos

CB: Nacho

Strong and disciplined, Nacho is likely to feature at the heart of the defence.

LB: Marcelo

The dynamism and pace of Marcelo should be seen at left-back. He is an absolute machine who works his socks off and provides equal performances at both ends of the pitch.

RCM: Mateo Kovacic

Kovacic should play on the right-hand side of central midfield. He must get into advanced positions and help the forwards.

CDM: Casemiro

Casemiro should provide cover to the back-4. He intercepts a lot of passes, reads passes early and defends well.

LCM: Marco Asensio

Asensio should return to the lineup to replace Kroos. He adds an attacking edge, is an able dribbler and has a knack for playing match-winning passes.

Cristiano Ronaldo

RW: Isco

As a part of the rotation, the exciting Isco could play at right-wing. However, he might occupy more of a central position and allow Kovacic and Carvajal to overlap in such positions. Isco has got great feet, has a fantastic technique and is a creative player.

LW: Christiano Ronaldo

Was annoyed by the fact that he could not complete the previous match but Ronaldo’s work rate and energy will be needed to brush aside La Real. He will play down the left-hand side.

ST: Borja Mayoral

Mayoral has shown a lot of liveliness and precision whenever called upon. He could lead the line as Benzema could be rested.
